Death Valley

In November of 2003 we camped in Death Valley for a couple of weeks. Wow, was it cold at night. Not many people around in the remote areas so we could really absorb the atmosphere, plus we had visits from roadrunners and coyotes.

There is remarkably little in the way of sand dunes in Death Valley….this is one that we climbed on:

these photos were all shot with our first digital camera, a Canon A70…not as good as film, but glad I had it with me.
